Winbro’s origins in the 1980s were focussed on the aerospace sector, using our advanced EDM machine systems to drill cooling holes in turbine blades, vanes and combustors. We rapidly established ourselves as the global technology leader in that sector, a position we still hold today.

In the intervening years, we have broadened our range of technologies to include Laser systems, Multi-Axis Grinding and ECM (Electrochemical Machining), and have successfully transferred our expertise into other sectors. These include:
